Deni Wohlgemuth Ponty Born 1952
Dutch/American, Painter

Born in The Hague , Deni Ponty studied art in a children's program at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague , The Netherlands, in 1962. In 1969 he spent a year at The Netherlands College of International Relations and then moved to the U.S. where he got his BA at the University of Oregon in Eugene . He subsequently studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena , California and at the Otis Art Institute of the Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles . Ponty's work has been seen in numerous gallery exhibitions and is in many private collections. He lives and works in Los Angeles .
